Tough Love
Hello lovely readers! As you already know Valentine's day is quickly approaching which means it is a perfect time to reflect on what you love, who you love, and how you show your love. We all have a chance to spread the love we have within us throughout our daily lives. Whether it is a sincere "thank you" to the guy that makes your morning coffee, a compliment to a total stranger, or telling your mother she is beautiful. Valentine's day is a perfect reminder to spread joy and happiness to all the people around us. I like to express myself through what I wear because it is the first impression you can make on anyone, often the only one. Let it be a good one.
Here is my first Valentine's day look which I hope will inspire yours! The entire look is based around this statement top from the Burberry Brit hearts collection. The print is ideal for the occasion and when paired with a black leather skirt it really brings out the over-sized nova check plaid. The leather adds a smooth texture with a rough edge complemented by the leather booties. Every girl knows heels hurt, even the most expensive heels will hurt after a while. I chose to wear the Classic Newbury to continue the edgy feel and because they're comfortable, but this look can easily be transformed from day to night with a sassy pair of pointy-toed heels.
I love simple to put together looks that make a statement such as this one. Last but not least: the jewelry. I chose this vintage 1970's metal mesh triangle necklace and simple sparkly studs to add the perfect amount of shine. What are your Valentine's day plans?

With love,
Your Everyday Girl
